I can’t believe I am even writing this, but apparently Flavor Flav makes some of the best fried chicken you will ever taste.

The reality TV star and Public Enemy hype man opened up his own chicken joint in Clinton, Iowa, on Monday and the buzz is that this is the first of a chain of Flav’s Chicken restaurants to come.

He came up with this idea after serving his wings for 99 cents in Las Vegas and apparently they were a huge hit. In the below video, the hip-hop pioneer states that he used to be the top chef at Uniondale High School and the Nassau County Correctional Center right here on Long Island. He went to Roosevelt High School, so I guess you could say he is really repping his hood, huh? (blank stare)

Check out the video below of Flav talking about his new endeavor. I don’t know about you, but if one opens up a branch on LI, I’ll be there front and center to taste some of this “amazing” chicken (shaking my head).
