Hollywood Life: Taylor Swift's latest accolade
It's been a big week for Taylor Swift already, and it's only Tuesday. Sunday night she won eight Billboard Music Awards and debuted her star-studded "Bad Blood" music video at the ceremony. Now she's been ranked No. 1 on Maxim's Hot 100 List for 2015.
"It's really nice and such an incredible compliment," said Swift, 25, about topping the list in the Maxim article accompanying the list. "This year has been my favorite year of my life so far. I got to make an album ['1989'] exactly the way I wanted to make it. I got to put it out exactly the way I dreamed of putting it out."
Swift takes the crown from South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel, who was Maxim's queen of the Hot 100 List last year. Previous honorees have included Miley Cyrus, Eva Longoria, Jessica Simpson and Jessica Alba.
The remainder of Maxim's 2015 list will be released Wednesday.
BET nominees named
Rapper Nicki Minaj and R&B singer Chris Brown lead this year's pack of BET Awards nominees with six nods each. Close behind are Beyonce and Lil Wayne, who are each up for four awards.
Minaj will face off against Iggy Azalea, Azealia Banks, Dej LoafTink and Trina for the female hip-hop artist. The ceremony airs June 28 on BET.
