Hollywood Life: Zendaya chides magazine for using retouched photos of singer
Zendaya took to social media when she saw that Modeliste magazine was planning to run extremely retouched photos of her from a recent photo shoot in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The 19-year-old singer-actress posted a side-by-side shot of the changes to one image on Instagram on Tuesday and wrote a passionate caption about why she didn't want her figure to be altered and how as a role model to young women, she wants to depict her body as is.
The magazine listened, and Modeliste Editor-in-Chief Amy McCabe wrote an open letter of apology and made the decision to pull the issue. McCabe wrote in her letter how she appreciates and respects Zendaya's concern -- so much that the November issue was pulled and the original images will be restored.

Justin Bieber seems to be enjoying the single life! The 21-year-old singer hung out with Elysandra Quiñones -- one of his backup dancers -- at the The Square Pig and Pen, a pub in Holborn, London, on Wednesday.
Quiñones and Bieber were spotted having fun and nuzzling close to one another, according to a report. The backup dancer, who toured with Bieber during his 2012-13 "Believe" tour, joined the singer in London with other dancers.
Bieber is in England to promote his album, "Purpose," which will be released on Nov. 13.
