Ever want to knock Kanye West in the head? Well, the folks at Otter Spice Productions have decided to help you out with the Kanye Zone (kanyezone.com) online video game. Taking a line from a Throne song (the one people at family newspapers have taken to calling "In Paris") to heart, the game's creators let you keep 'Ye from getting into his zone, by using a bumper that hits him in the head and makes him go "Nehh!" then disappear.

The longer you keep him out of his zone, the more cash you rack up. However, eventually 'Ye will win -- as he always does -- and when he does his Throne pal Jay-Z shows up and they say in unison, "I'm definitely in my zone."

It's a simple concept and an even simpler game, but it is pretty addictive, just like the song that spawned it and plays in the background to remind you how memorable that hook really is. That is cray!

Female prisoners test MP3 program

At a federal prison in southern West Virginia, hundreds of female inmates are taking part in a pilot program to bring the quality of entertainment behind bars into the 21st century.

More than 400 inmates have spent $70 apiece to buy MP3 players from the commissary in the Federal Prison Camp at Alderson, then 80 cents to $1.55 per song to customize playlists from a song database.

Federal prisoners have been able to buy radios for decades. If the program works in West Virginia, it will be rolled out to other federal facilities later this year.

The maker of the music player says the new technology is also safer because cassette and CD players have motors, and CDs can be broken into sharp pieces. An MP3 player has no moving parts that can be used as weapons.
