The quintessential San Francisco band had a long association with New York. In the '60s, the granddaddy of underground comics was famous for his trippy "Keep on Truckin'" comic and characters like Fritz the Cat and Mr. Natural. He's still hard at work; this show (which opened yesterday) presents the drawings for "R. Crumb's Book of Genesis," a retelling of the Bible story in the artist's typically far-out style.WHEN | WHERE
