Joe Simpson arrested for DUI, report

Even celebrity dads get in trouble sometimes.
Joe Simpson, the father of singer Jessica Simpson, was arrested after being accused of driving under the influence, according to E! News.
Reports state that the 54-year-old was pulled over on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, Calif., at about 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Although Simpson was arrested with belief that he was intoxicated, he was released the next day without having to pay bail.
This is Simpson’s first such offense, TMZ reports.
