Proceeds from the summer display of the Dutchess of Cambridge's wedding dress will go charity.

After 10 weeks at Buckingham Palace, Kate Middleton's dress has raked in almost $16.5 million from ticket sales.

According to The Telegraph, a record-breaking 600,000 visitors saw the display.

Some of the money will be going toward maintaining various works of art at the Royal palaces.

As for the rest of the money, next summer, Middleton and Prince William are expected to announce other charities that will be receiving a chunk of the proceeds.
