LC is all grown up.
"Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" fans watched Lauren Conrad, now 27, move on from her drama-prone high school and string of failed relationships to become a successful fashion designer, but the California-bred beauty has been mostly tight-lipped about her personal life since quitting the reality TV scene -- until now.
Conrad couldn't wait to announce her engagement to boyfriend of almost two years William Tell, 33, a former guitarist for rock band Something Corporate and current University of Southern California law student. Tell, like Conrad, grew up in Orange County, Calif. He has also dated actress Brittany Snow.
"I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend," she posted Sunday on her website. "I am beyond thrilled!"
Conrad also posted a photo of her round-cut diamond ring, shown below. No word on wedding details yet, but Conrad's eye for style and love for crafty DIY projects guarantees that Pinterest-obsessed brides-to-be will be busy in the upcoming months.
"Get ready for lots more wedding content here on LaurenConrad.com as we begin the planning process," she promised.
Conrad's ex, Jason Wahler, married model Ashley Stack on Saturday, and her "Laguna Beach" rival, Kristin Cavallari, is trying for baby No. 2 with NFL quarterback hubby Jay Cutler, she just told Chicago radio station WCIU. My, how far they've come.
