I know I'm not the only one who can't get Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" pop-rap out of my head.

And the two rappers didn't disappoint Saturday when they took their No. 1 single to the "Saturday Night Live" stage. Thank goodness, otherwise the episode would have been a complete bust, with Kevin Hart's lackluster hosting.

I have higher expectations than usual when a comedian hosts the show, which is maybe part of the reason why Hart just didn't do it for me. Sure, his opening stand-up about a failed "SNL" audition was worthy of a chuckle, and his imitation of Quvenzhané Wallis (as the new Pope) was laughable, but I wasn't LOL-ing, that's for sure.
