Singing diva and Long Island native Mariah Carey, who has actively campaigned for President Barack Obama's re-election, has released a new song online paying tribute to the commander-in-chief a day after he was elected to a second term, according to E! News.

The tune, “Bring It on Home,” is a slow-moving ballad that reflects the values the president espoused in his acceptance speech early Wednesday morning -- the idea that America is a better, stronger and more perfect union when we care for our fellow neighbors, E! said.

Carey threw her support behind the president, appearing at an Obama rally in North Carolina on the eve of Election Day.
