'Masters of Sex' author Thomas Maier chats live before Showtime finale

Newsday investigative reporter Thomas Maier answered fan questions during a live web chat about his 2009 book, "Masters of Sex," and its Golden Globe-nominated TV adaptation.
Showtime's drama stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as sex researchers William Masters and Virginia Johnson, and is based on Maier's biography.
The show is nominated for best drama; Sheen is nominated for best actor in a drama.
The first season of "Masters of Sex" ends Sunday.
