Agent: Director of 'Empire Strikes Back' dies at 87
The agent for Irvin Kershner says the director of the "Star Wars" sequel “The Empire Strikes Back” has died at age 87.
Agent Derek Maki says in an e-mail to The Associated Press on Monday that Kershner died during the weekend, but no further details are available.
Kershner also directed the 1983 James Bond film “Never Say Never Again.”
