Justin Bieber is inviting a few million of his closest friends to Tuesday night's premiere of his new movie.
The pop star, whose social networking skills may rival his vocal talent, will be in Los Angeles for the premiere of the Paramount Pictures 3-D concert film "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never," but fans everywhere can go online around 8 p.m. to watch a 2-1/2-hour "purple-carpet" event at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. Fans can also tune in an hour early for a "countdown" segment featuring clips and celebrity guests.
The streamed broadcast will be available for free at Livestream.com and Facebook.com, with minute-by-minute coverage at Bieber's popular Twitter page, which has nearly 7 million followers.
"I'm so grateful for everything that I get to experience, and I know I couldn't do any of this without my fans," Bieber, 16, said in a news release. "What a cool way for them to experience my movie's premiere with me!"
The film is set for release Friday.
