“Bohemian Rhapsody,” the underdog hit that earned $734 million worldwide and stole the Golden Globe for best dramatic picture, has returned to 750 theaters across the United States in a singalong version.
The move also expands the film to more than 1,300 theaters starting Friday, Jan. 11, up from 1,000.
Long Island venues showing the singalong version are the Squire Cinemas in Great Neck, AMC Raceway 10 in Westbury, Herricks Cinemas, Regal Lynbrook 13 & RPX, Deer Park Stadium 16 and AMC Stony Brook 17.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” tells the story of Freddie Mercury, lead singer for the rock band Queen, and includes such hits as “We Will Rock You,” “We Are the Champions” and the film’s title track. Rami Malek, who plays Mercury, also won a best dramatic actor Globe for his performance.
Tickets will be available at theater box offices and through most online services.
