Chilean miners' story coming to big screen
From real life to reel life
The story of the Chilean miners trapped underground for more than two months is on its way to the big screen, The Associated Press reports. The 33 miners have sold the rights to their story to producer Mike Medavoy ("Black Swan"), the producer and the miners' reps announced Monday. The film will recount the plight of the miners trapped for 69 days after the mine they were working in collapsed near Copiapo, Chile.
