Christian Bale won't play Steve Jobs in biopic
Michael Fassbender, star of the "X-Men" film series, is in early talks to star in the planned Steve Jobs movie, following Christian Bale's departure from the project, The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday. Bale, who had not yet begun formal negotiations, withdrew after determining he was not right for the part of the visionary Apple Inc. co-founder, the magazine had reported Monday. Leonardo DiCaprio previously had been under consideration, but choose not to pursue the role in director Danny Boyle's biographical drama. Seth Rogen is in talks to play fellow co-founder Steve Wozniak.
