Dan Aykroyd to have cameo in 'Ghostbusters' reboot

He ain't afraid of no ghosts -- and so original "Ghostbusters" star and co-writer Dan Aykroyd will have a cameo appearance in the currently filming remake starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon.
After word leaked at IndieRevolver.com that Aykroyd, 63, was filming a cabbie role Monday night with Wiig, he tweeted the following day, "On GB set shooting my scene with funny beautiful Kristen Wiig."
Although he soon deleted the post, Entertainment Weekly confirmed Aykroyd's involvement with his representatives, but not his specific role.
The film is scheduled for release next year.
