A new film starring Vera Farmiga and Jacob Tremblay, “Burn Your Maps,” will screen at the Gold Coast International Film Festival, which announced its lineup Monday.

The film tells the story of a little boy whose odd fantasies about Mongolia prompt his mother to take him there on a road trip. Other notable films at the festival, now in its sixth year, include Asghar Farhadi’s “The Salesman,” about a couple who move into an apartment with a troubled history, and “Bang! The Bert Berns Story,” a documentary narrated by Steven Van Zandt about the songwriter-producer behind such iconic hits as “Twist and Shout” and “Hang on Sloopy.”

The Gold Coast International Film Festival runs Nov. 9-15 at venues around the North Shore. For more information, go to goldcoastfilmfestival.org.
