Corey Feldman and Kerri Green will bring their classic 1985 adventure comedy “The Goonies” to Long Island next spring for a special screening.

The event is scheduled for March 22, at 7 p.m. at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Titled “Hey You Guys!!!” after one of the film’s many memorable lines, the event promises a blast back to the past. Feldman, who played the mischievous Clark "Mouth" Devereaux, and Green, who played cheerleader Andrea "Andy" Carmichael, will attend the screening and speak afterward about their personal experiences making the film. Limited VIP tickets are available for meet-and-greets with the two stars, plus a photo opportunity.

Written by Chris Columbus (“Gremlins”) and directed by Richard Donner, of “Superman” fame, "The Goonies” tells a shaggy-dog story about a motley crew of Oregon kids who discover that their homes lie in the path of an expanding country club. After stumbling upon a centuries-old treasure map, the self-described Goonies embark on an adventure marked by underground tunnels, an ancient pirate ship and ingenious booby traps, all while staying one step ahead of a local crime family, the Fratellis.

Among the film’s future stars are Josh Brolin as the athletic Brandon “Brand” Walsh and eventual Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan as Richard "Data" Wang.

The film opened in June 1985, getting semipositive reviews, but became a hit, earning $68 million. “The Goonies” remains one of the most beloved films of its decade, largely because of its lively cast and an overall sense of off-the-cuff silliness. Though its cult following may not reach “Rocky Horror” level of dedication, its many catchphrases (from “Never say die” to “Jerk alert”) have become famous enough to emblazon on T-shirts and baseball caps.

Feldman, 54, became a teen heartthrob during the 1980s in such films as “Stand by Me” and “The Lost Boys,” and transformed himself into a reality TV star during the 2000s with “The Two Coreys,” a show that co-starred Corey Haim, his longtime friend and fellow recovering addict. He competed on this season’s “Dancing with the Stars,” but was the second celebrity to be eliminated.

Green, 58, later appeared in the indie film “Lucas” (1986) and on such television shows as “Mad About You” and “ER."
