The Boy Who Lived, He Who Must Not Be Named and every Harry Potter character in between is getting the Resurrection Stone treatment: For a week beginning Oct. 13, IMAX Corp. is rereleasing the eight-film Warner Bros. series on jumbo-sized IMAX 2D screens.

IMAX said Monday that this engagement of J.K. Rowling’s mythos about child sorcerers at a wizardry school will also include footage from next month’s spinoff “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” including a reel prepared for a fan event, plus newly recorded greetings from star Eddie Redmayne and others. Additionally, the first two films — “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” (2001) and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” (2002) — are being digitally remastered for IMAX.

Ticket tiers range from single-movie to unlimited-admittance “Festival Access.” Packages and pricing may vary by theater, IMAX said.

The two area venues participating are UA Farmingdale Stadium 10 and Regal Deer Park Max 16.
