Oscar hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco won't be "Gervaising" anyone Sunday at the Academy Awards.

"I can guarantee that if you're looking for someone to call people out, we're not your hosts," Hathaway told The Hollywood Reporter in the new issue. "I think that [type of] humor is really difficult to pull off," she said referring to comedian Ricky Gervais' controversial hosting of the Golden Globe Awards in January.

The 28-year-old actress noted, too, that, "We're not writing the jokes or the scenarios," though she and Franco - who is also a nominee, as best actor for "127 Hours" - "are collaborating with the writers to figure out what fits."

On his chances of winning, Franco said, "Well, nobody is shy about saying Colin Firth is going to win. . . . By hosting, it makes it easier to go to the events and not feel like a total schmo."
