James Cameron making 3 'Avatar' sequels
Cameron making three 'Avatar' sequels James Cameron's "Avatar" will have not two, but three sequels, Deadline.com reported yesterday. The industry trade site said Cameron hired screenwriters Josh Friedman (2005's "War of the Worlds") and the team of Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver ("Rise of the Planet of the Apes") to write two and Shane Salerno ("Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem") for the third. All three sequels will be shot simultaneously, with the first two set for release December 2016 and December 2017, and the last in 2018.
