Jena Malone cast as Johanna in 'Games'

Jena Malone, whose work includes "The Messenger," "Sucker Punch" and the recent miniseries "Hatfields & McCoys," is in final negotiations to play the snarky and provocative "tribute" Johanna Mason in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," the sequel to the blockbuster. The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday an offer has been extended to Malone, squelching rumors that actress-model Zoe Aggeliki was front-runner for the role. "Catching Fire" is scheduled to begin shooting in September.
