Margot Robbie to appear at Hamptons International Film Festival for Tonya Harding movie

Margot Robbie will accompany her new film, “I, Tonya,” at the Hamptons International Film Festival next month.
The film, which features Robbie as the disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding, will serve as the festival’s closing-night screening.
Robbie, currently riding a wave of success following her portrayal of the supervillain Harley Quinn in 2016’s “Suicide Squad,” is one of the bigger names to grace the Hamptons festival in recent years. Also in attendance will be Sam Rockwell, Annette Bening, Josh Gad, Richard Jenkins and Jamie Bell. Director Jordan Peele and actor Daniel Kaluuya will also be on hand for a discussion of their racially-themed horror-satire “Get Out,” a critical hit from earlier this year.
The festival has yet to announce additions to its popular live interview series, “A Conversation With . . . ,” which so far features just one guest, writer-director Rob Reiner.
The festival’s full film lineup, officially announced Monday, includes “Darkest Hour,” an early Oscar contender starring Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill; “Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool,” based on the real-life romance between a young actor (Bell) and a legendary leading lady (Bening); “Marshall,” a biopic about a young Thurgood Marshall (Chadwick Boseman); Noah Baumbach’s “The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected),” in which Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler play the sons of a famous artist (Dustin Hoffman); and Todd Haynes’ time-spanning drama “Wonderstruck,” starring Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams.
