WHO Julia Roberts

THE MOVIE "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White"

THE DEAL The A-list actress is being courted for the unlikely role of the Evil Queen in this live-action 3-D project produced by Brett Rattner ("Rush Hour"), reports Deadline.com. Meanwhile, the Universal folks are hoping Charlize Theron will be their Evil Queen in "Snow White and the Huntsman." The right fairy tale can work wonders: Disney's "Tangled," an animated twist on Rapunzel, recently became the second-highest Thanksgiving opener ever (behind Disney's "Toy Story 2" in 1999), according to BoxOffice Mojo.com.

WHO Cathy Moriarty

THE MOVIE "Goat"

THE DEAL The actress who made her debut in 1980's "Raging Bull" was at a private home in Manhasset's Gracewood development Tuesday filming a scene with Armand Assante (the Emmy-winning "Gotti"). It was for an indie film about an ex-con coming to grips with his criminal past. The film also features Ice-T, Vincent Pastore ("The Sopranos") and character actor William DeMeo.

WHO Faith Wladyka

THE MOVIE "Blue Valentine"

THE DEAL The 6-year-old Malverne native plays Frankie, the daughter of Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams, in this controversial indie film, which narrowly escaped an NC-17 rating but went on to earn Golden Globe nominations for its two stars. Wladyka's resumé includes television commercials and an episode of ABC's daytime soap "One Life to Live." According to her official bio, "she enjoys dancing, soccer and playing with her brother, sister and dog."
