She also played the lead role of Reggie, a post-apocalypse valley girl, in 1984's "Night of the Comet," a rarely screened but ahead-of-its-time gem that mashed up science fiction, comedy, zombies and teen romance. Both films are playing under Brett Sherris' Summer Camp Cinema banner.

Israeli filmmaker Guy Davidi helped assemble the footage. Mehdi, a <a href="/topics//Middle_East">Middle East</a> peace activist, filmmaker and film teacher at Seton Hall University, will speak at tonight's screening.
