THE DEAL A newly released trailer for this sci-fi Disney film about boxing robots features Hugh Jackman as a human trainer who discovers a rickety but promising contender. Fans of "The Twilight Zone" may recall the 1963 episode "Steel," based on the same short story by Richard Matheson and starring Lee Marvin in the central role. The film is scheduled for release Oct. 7.

THE DEAL Filming is set to begin May 23 on this drama starring Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis as mothers who join forces to transform an inner-city school, according to Deadline.com. For Davis, it looks to be another inspirational drama along the lines of her upcoming film "The Help," opposite Emma Stone. For Gyllenhaal, it may mark her fourth consecutive movie role as a mother, following "Away We Go," "Crazy Heart" and "Nanny McPhee Returns." The director is Daniel Barnz ("Beastly").
