THE DEAL The Wu-Tang Clan rapper makes his writing and directing debut with "The Man With the Iron Fists" Friday, and already he has two more projects lined up, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The first is likely to be "No Man's Land," about a man trying to stay alive after stealing a powerful criminal's diamond; the other is a biopic of warrior Genghis Khan. That long-gestating project is written by John Milius; a remake of his 1984 invasion flick, "Red Dawn," arrives in theaters Nov.21.

THE MOVIE "The Monuments Men"

THE DEAL Clooney's latest directing effort features a star-studded and eclectic cast, according to Deadline.com. Daniel Craig, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman, Hugh Bonneville, Jean Dujardin ("The Artist") and Bridgehampton's Bob Balaban have signed on for this drama, set against the last days of World War II, in which a crew of museum curators and historians tries to hunt down artworks before Hitler can destroy them.

THE MOVIE "Kumaré"

THE DEAL Subtitled "The True Story of a False Prophet," this documentary follows the guru Sri Kumaré, who arrives in Phoenix and quickly develops a group of devoted students. But he soon faces a dilemma: Should he tell them he's actually a filmmaker from New Jersey conducting a social experiment? Director Vikram Gandhi is scheduled to appear at next week's screening, the last of the Port Jefferson Documentary Series.
