THE DEAL One of Germany's leading directors - she began her career as an actress working with giants like Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Volker Schlöndorff - comes to L.I. to present her latest film. It's based on the true story of a 12th century nun, Hildegard von Bingen, whose philosophy becomes a threat to the church. The movie begins its regular run Oct. 22.
