Deal alert: Where to see movies on Long Island for $1 per person

Such a deal! Families can go to the movies at Long Island Regal theaters on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for just $1 per person for each show from June 11 through Aug. 7.
Two options will roll at 11 a.m. Families could choose to attend one on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday.
The series kicks off on June 11 and 12 with “Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway” and “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish." June 18 and 19 will feature “TMNT: Mutant Mayhem” and “Angry Birds 2.” June 25 and 26 brings “Despicable Me 3” and “Migration.”
Then, July 2 and 3 will feature “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” and “PAW Patrol: The Movie.” July 9 and 10 offers “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” and “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.” July 16 and 17 features “Clifford the Big Red Dog” and “Sonic the Hedgehog,” while July 23 and 24 features “Trolls Band Together” and “Sonic the Hedgehog 2.” July 30 and 31 brings “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” and “Kung Fu Panda 3.”
The nine-week series wraps up Aug. 6 and 7 with “Minions: The Rise of Gru” and “Sing 2.”
Summer Movie Express 2024 guests can also purchase a $5 Snack Pack, which includes a junior-size drink, snack-size popcorn, and fruit snacks with an optional $3 Dippin’ Dots add-on.
Participating Regal cinemas include Deer Park, Farmingdale, Lynbrook, Ronkonkoma and Westbury. Regal has been hosting summertime entertainment specials since 1991.
