Scarlett Johansson will earn $15 million for reprising her Marvel-movie role as superspy Natasha Romanoff in the upcoming Black Widow solo feature, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The trade magazine cited multiple unnamed industry sources for the figure, which puts Johansson, 33, in pay parity with fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, who play Captain America and Thor, respectively. A Marvel representative told the magazine, "Marvel Studios disputes the accuracy of these numbers, and as a matter of policy, we never publicly disclose salaries or deal terms."
Johansson, who has played the Black Widow in six films, appears next in the role in the upcoming fourth Avengers movie.
