"Baby Mama," 2008. Real-life SNL buddies, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, star in this comedy where the single businesswoman dying to be a mother, Fey, hires an unlikely surrogate, Poehler.

"Sex and the City," 2008 & "Sex and the City 2," 2010. TV's girl group, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, come to the big screen, tackling familiar problems: boyfriend and husband issues, baby issues. But in "Sex and the City 2," Cattrall, who plays Samantha Jones, declares, "We made a deal ages ago. Men, babies, doesn't matter. We are soul mates."

"Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," 2005. Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera and Blake Lively play four friends who remain in touch over the summer through a pair of traveling pants.

"Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood," 2002. Sandra Bullock, Ellen Burstyn, Fionnula Flanagan and Ashley Judd. Siddalee (Bullock) is a famous New York playwright who is taken by her mother's friends, and members of the Ya-Ya sisterhood, back to the South so she and her mother can patch up their relationship.

"Charlie's Angels," 2000. Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore star in the recreation of the 1970's show where three friends take on bad guys with disguise, martial arts and a little help from their mysterious boss, Charlie.

"Romy and Michele's High School Reunion," 1997. Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino play two friends who venture to their high school reunion and make up a few lies along the way.

"The First Wive's Club," 1996. Bette Middler, Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton play "The First Wives," women who have been left by their husbands for younger wives. But, the first wives are seeking revenge.

"A League of Their Own," 1992. Geena Davis, Madonna, Rosie O'Donnell, Lori Petty and Megan Cavanagh bond as they play the stars of the first female professional baseball league.

"Thelma & Louise," 1991. Geena Davis plays Thelma, a housewife, and Susan Sarandon plays Louise, a fast-food waitress. The two break from their normal routines and hit the road. Their trip takes a turn when Louise kills a man who threatens to rape Thelma. They try to head to Mexico while the police are on their trail.

"Steel Magnolias," 1989. For a group of Southern belles, played by Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Julia Roberts, Shirley MacLaine, Daryl Hannah and Olympia Dukakis, life in Louisiana comes together at Truvy's Beauty Parlor.

"The Witches of Eastwick," 1987. Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer play three single women whose lives change at the arrival of a mysterious man in their small town. They try to use certain powers they learned from the town's new-comer so they can, hopefully, go back to being in control.
