'12-12-12' concert headed to theatersThe concert documentary "12-12-12," which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the Madison Square Garden benefit for victims of superstorm Sandy, will get a theatrical release on Nov. 1, Newsday's Glenn Gamboa reports. Featuring such A-list performers as Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Billy Joel and The Who, the "12-12-12" concert raised more than $50 million in one night for the Robin Hood Foundation, which the charity then provided to nearly 400 organizations in the tristate area to help victims of the storm.
