Adam Lazzara's birthday wishes

     It’s Adam Lazzara’s 29th birthday tomorrow, but he hopes to be giving away a lot of presents.
     The Taking Back Sunday singer has donated his birthday to Charity: Water, a non-profit that brings clean and safe drinking water to developing nations.
     Lazzara is asking his family, friends and fans to donate to the charity, which will use 100 percent of the money to bring water to the Central African Republic. “Did you know that $20 can give someone clean water for up to 20 years? I didn't, but I do think everyone should have access to clean water,” he writes, jokingly adding that he wants to “help fund clean water projects for my birthday instead of asking for my usual list of things like rocket ships, helicopters and ponies.”
     His goal is to raise $5,000 to bring water to about 250 people and he has so far raised nearly $1,200.
