Beatlemania will be here, there and everywhere this weekend. And what better month than February to celebrate the Fab Four. After all, it was on Feb. 7, 1964, when Pan Am Yankee Clipper flight 101 from London touched ground at Kennedy Airport and The Beatles stepped out for their first U.S. visit. Two days later, they made a landmark appearance on the "The Ed Sullivan Show."

No reason you've got to hide your Beatles love away. Instead, check out these three Long Island shows where you can come together with other fans of John, Paul, George and Ringo.

Mostly Moptop: Get Back(wards)

Long Island-based tribute band Mostly Moptop takes the lyrics of "Get Back" one step further with this show, where they'll perform the Fab Four's hits in reverse chronological order.

"I remember the fun I used to have running The Beatles' records backward looking for hidden messages, and thought how backward is so essential to Beatles lore," said Anthony Pomes, who plays guitar, bass and piano and does vocals for Mostly Moptop. "The more I thought of it, the more I realized it was a natural fit for a live performance."

Pomes and fellow Moptops John Tabacco, Edward Franz and Paul Michael Barkan will also get a little help from their friends - and family members - for the show. Not only will percussionist Donald Larsen and bassist-horn player Matt Scott join them onstage, but on "Strawberry Fields Forever," Pomes' son, Grant, 14, will play the euphonium and Franz's children Ariana, 13, and Gregory, 11, will be on cello. Ariana and Gregory will also accompany on the group on "Yesterday," along with Pomes' daughter Miranda, 14, and her friend Sarah Simmons, 13, both on violin.

Classic Albums Live: Abbey Road

Something in the way the musicians of Classic Albums Live play will remind you of The Beatles in this note-for-note, cut-for-cut performance of all the songs from "Abbey Road."

"We're a recital band, not a tribute band," said Craig Martin, founder of Toronto-based Classic Albums Live. "All of our energy is focused on the music and delivering an absolutely perfect rendition of the album. We dress in black, there's no crazy lights. We just stand there and play. We're very boring," he jokes.

"Abbey Road" actually takes up only the first half of the night; after intermission, expect to hear Beatles hits from other albums. Just prepare to be surprised. "We never know what we're going to do for the second half until the night of the show. We decide that during the break depending on what the audience is like," Martin said. "They might get side one of 'The White Album,' or maybe some of the Moptop stuff. Who knows?"

Laser Beatles

Lucy in the sky with diamonds has nothing on the laser lights dancing on the ceiling of the Vanderbilt Planetarium. Audiences will get a full-dome view of the laser show while listening to 16 Beatles favorites, including "Twist and Shout," "I Am the Walrus," "Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da" and "Here Comes the Sun."

"It reaches a broad age range from people who had seen laser shows years ago to kids who are seeing them for the first time. It's a show that's meant to be for the whole family," said Dave Bush, technician and show coordinator at the Vanderbilt. "And everyone loves The Beatles."

WHEN | WHERE: 9 p.m. Fridays, 3 p.m. Saturdays and 3 and 7 p.m. Sundays through March 20, Vanderbilt Planetarium, 180 Little Neck Rd., Centerport
