Billy Joel extends Madison Square Garden run through March

Billy Joel's Madison Square Garden run will extend to March, 2016, following intense demand for tickets to his January show, which went on sale Friday morning.

Tickets for shows on Feb. 13 and March 15 at The Garden, the 26th and 27th in Joel's monthly residency, are on sale now through Ticketmaster, as are remaning tickets for the Jan. 7 show. Tickets are $65.50 to $129.50.

Joel became MSG's first musical franchise in December 2013 and now holds the records for longest run and most performances at the arena. The March concert will be his 73rd at the Garden.

Joel has said he will continue the monthly residency as long as there is a demand.
