Billy Joel extends Madison Square Garden residency with 43rd show

Billy Joel wants to help people plan their Fourth of July weekend by extending his record-setting Madison Square Garden residency with a show on July 5.

Tickets for the 43rd show in his residency and the 89th Madison Square Garden in his career go on sale at 10 a.m. March 3 through Ticketmaster.

Prices range from $65.50 to $129.50. Citi cardholders can begin purchasing pre-sale tickets starting at 10 a.m. Monday.

For those looking to see what it’s like behind the scenes at Joel’s Garden residency, the documentary “Billy Joel: New York State of Mind” will air on WNBC/4 at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The special, which features interviews with Joel, his band, and even “Super Fan” Kevin James, also airs at 11 p.m. Monday on the MSG Network.
