Billy Joel tribute band Big Shot sets 3 shows at The Paramount

If Billy Joel can have his residency at Madison Square Garden, why can’t the Joel tribute band Big Shot do the same at The Paramount?
The Huntington venue on Monday announced a partnership with Big Shot to present a “consistent schedule” of the band’s live shows for 2016.
The initial dates for the concerts, billed as “Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot: Celebrating the Music of Billy Joel,” are April 22, June 24 and Aug. 27, with additional dates to be announced. All shows start at 8 p.m. The Paramount will announce the Ticketmaster on-sale and pre-sale dates and times for each of the shows in the coming weeks.
In a statement, DelGuidice, currently the backup vocalist and guitarist for Joel, said: “Our band has found a real home for our music at The Paramount and it’s the perfect place to continue the legacy of Billy Joel’s music on Long Island. Billy Joel and Long Island are the perfect marriage and we look forward to putting on the best live shows as often as the venue will have us.”
