Hip-hop's A Boogie Wit da Hoodie headlines UBS Arena show celebrating 10th anniversary of 'Artist'

A Boogie Wit da Hoodie will perform at Elmont’s UBS Arena this fall to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut mixtape, “Artist.”

The concert is scheduled for Oct. 30 with guest stars DaBaby, Moneybagg Yo and Zeddy Will.

The Bronx-born rapper, often called simply A Boogie, began posting tracks to SoundCloud as a teenager and in 2016 released his first full-length project, “Artist.” (The title is a nod to his given name, Artist Julius Dubose.) Next came a number of guest slots on Drake’s 2016 summer tour and a record deal with Atlantic, which released his debut album, “The Bigger Artist,” in 2017. A Boogie has since scored a handful of Top 40 singles, including “Drowning,” “Look Back at It” and “Numbers.”

The rapper has since seen several songs, including “Jungle” and “Still Think About You,” reach multi-platinum status. In October he released “Part of Me,” a track that interpolates part of “We Belong Together,” the chart-topping single by Long Island native Mariah Carey.

General-public tickets for A Boogie’s UBS show go on sale Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
