Bruno Mars' 'Locked Out of Heaven'
Bruno Mars takes a detour from his smooth R&B style into rock and reggae for his new single "Locked Out of Heaven" (Atlantic). The opening sounds more like The Police circa 1981 than "Grenade," as Mars opts for the sweatier, edgier side of his sound for the lead single from his forthcoming "Unorthodox Jukebox" album. However, "Locked" still has such a memorable hook and playful feel that it won't scare off any of Mars' dedicated fans.
