Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Tonight I'm Getting Over You' will probably be underappreciated
Carly Rae Jepsen is hoping radio has finally forgotten about "Call Me Maybe" enough to pay attention to her other songs. The launch of her sleek new single, "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" (Interscope), co-written with Max Martin among others, to yield yet another undeniably catchy chorus, gets an extra boost with a remix that features Nicki Minaj on a flashy verse. For anyone else, "Tonight" would be a home run, but, as previous singles from the underappreciated "Kiss" have shown, Miss Call Me Maybe is held to a different standard.
