After placing seventh on the 20th season of “American Idol” that wrapped in May, Christian Guardino’s next stop is conquering his hometown. The 22-year-old singer will perform his first solo show at Patchogue Theatre on Nov. 4.
“I’m so excited. It’s been a goal of mine to headline my own show for a very, very long time,” says Guardino. “I want it to feel like an experience and for people to connect with music the way that I do.”

Guardino will be backed by a four-piece band and his set list will include selections of American soul music through the decades, tunes from his “American Idol” appearances and his own songs, like the current single “Higher.”

“I’m gonna have all of my friends and family coming to the show. My parents and my entire family really are so excited,” says Guardino. “It means so much that I have my hometown behind me.”

Tickets ($29-$49) for the show go on sale Friday at noon via patchoguetheatre.org. A special presale will be held Wednesday at noon through Thursday at 11:59 p.m. using the code LOCAL22. There will be a preshow VIP meet-and-greet for an extra $50, in which guests can get a one-on-one photo with Guardino and an 11-by-17-inch commemorative poster of the concert.
