Coldplay will play the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show in February.

NFL vice president of programming and media Ron Semiao confirmed multiple reports Thursday, and hinted that past halftime performers could join the band onstage.

The British rockers will release their new album “A Head Full of Dreams,” which leans more toward pop and dance music, on Friday, featuring a collaboration with former Halftime Show headliner Beyoncé.

In recent interviews, singer Chris Martin has fueled speculation that this might be the band’s final album, telling the BBC that “this is the completion of something.”

Nevertheless, the band is expected to tour to support the new album next year.

The Super Bowl is set for Feb. 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
