The already-huge “12-12-12 (A Concert for Sandy Relief)” benefit at Madison Square Garden has added a few more names: Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder and Bon Jovi.
They join a star-studded lineup that includes Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Kanye West and Bon Jovi’s leader and namesake, Jon.
The Dec. 12 event — a fundraiser for the Robin Hood Relief Fund, which will aid victims of superstorm Sandy — is being produced by music industry biggies Clear Channel Entertainment, The Weinstein Company and The Madison Square Garden Co., the same folks who banded together to organize “The Concert for New York City” benefit after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Tickets for “12-12-12” go on sale at noon Monday through Ticketmaster, which has agreed to waive the ticket fees. Call 800-745-3000 or visit ticketmaster.com for more info.
