David Byrne and the original cast of his musical “Here Lies Love” will perform a special concert on Nov. 25 at Terminal 5 to benefit victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster. Proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders relief efforts in the Philippines.

“The show is about the resiliency of the Philippine people -- it couldn’t be more timely,” Byrne said in a statement. “Upon hearing about this tragedy the cast contacted me about doing a show to raise money for relief efforts. Most of our cast is Filipino, and all of us feel the same way. It’s personal for all of us. We all dropped whatever we were doing and this concert version of the show will happen.”

“Here Lies Love,” which premiered at The Public Theater in April, tells the story of the rise and fall of former Philippine first lady Imelda Marcos, including her time spent in Tacloban, the area hardest hit by the typhoon.

“The tragedy of Typhoon Haiyan that has engulfed the Philippines has been heart-rending for all of us,” Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis said in a statement. “’Here Lies Love’ made us feel a deep connection to the Philippine people, and to Tacloban specifically. Now we have a chance to make that connection matter. We hope this concert will raise money, raise awareness, and provide support for those who have lost so much.”
