Toronto-native rapper Drake joined the Backstreet Boys in that Canadian city's Budweiser Stage amphitheater Saturday in an audience-rousing rendition of the vocal quintet's 1999 pop hit "I Want It That Way."

In various videos posted online by audience members and by the performers' social-media accounts, Drake, 35, tells the crowd, "But look, Toronto: I want you to make some noise and I want you to sing this song as loud as you possibly can!"

Alluding to an anecdote he'd just shared about dancing with a girl he liked at his bar mitzvah to that tune, the four-time Grammy Award winner goes on to tell the audience, "Like I said, this is one of the greatest songs in music history. I'll be onstage for it … Let's go!"

After exuberantly performing the song, Drake hugs members of the group and they all join hands to take a bow together.

Backstreet Boys bring their DNA World Tour to Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on July 16.
