'Encanto: The Sing-Along' coming to Jones Beach

Call it Disney by the sea: The family-friendly “Encanto: The Sing-Along Film Concert Tour” comes to Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on Aug. 18.
The show is centered on Disney's hit 2021 animated feature, “Encanto,” which will play on the big screen in its entirety with a live band performing songs from the film penned by Tony- and Grammy-winning songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Hamilton,” “Moana”). The platinum soundtrack held the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 album chart for nine nonconsecutive weeks and spawned the hit song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for five weeks.
Those who attend the show are encouraged to cosplay as their favorite “Encanto” character as well as participate by singing along with each song.
