Fifth Harmony plans to go on indefinite hiatus to pursue their solo careers.

The “Work from Home” group, formed on “The X Factor” in 2012, just completed an Asian tour and plan to finish their current tour in May before heading their separate ways for a while “in order to stay authentic,” the band tweeted to fans.

“We are all very excited and grateful to be able to take this time to learn and grow creatively and really find our footing as individuals,” said the group. “In doing this we are allowing ourselves to gain new experiences, strengths and perspectives that we can bring back to our Fifth Harmony family.”

Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei have already been laying the groundwork for their solo careers. Kordei’s duet with Khalid, “Love Lies,” is on the “Love, Simon” soundtrack. Brooke released her debut solo single “Perfect” in January, while Jauregui teamed up with Steve Aoki for her single “All Night.”

“Reflecting on the past six years since we started on X-Factor, we’ve realized just how far we’ve come and we appreciate everything so much, more now than ever,” the statement reads. “We’ve really had one hell of a memorable journey together and can’t begin to express our gratitude to y’all for coming along with us on this wild ride!”
