See Flo Rida, ZZ Top, more, in free shows at Eisenhower Park

Squeeze a bit more summer out of this month by catching rapper Flo Rida in a free concert at Eisenhower Park's Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre in East Meadow, on Monday. Opening for him will be Long Island-based DJ duo Quantum Cor.
Born Tramar Lacel Dillard, Flo Rida arrived on the music scene in 2008 with his debut album, "Mail on Sunday" containing the hit single "Low," featuring T-Pain. The song, which was included in the film "Step Up 2: The Streets," reached the top of the Billboard charts and was nominated for two Grammys.
Flo Rida, 46, has sold over 80 million records and is known for delivering a party vibe at his shows. In addition to "Low," his current setlist showcases his other big songs "Right Round," "Club Can’t Handle Me," "Good Feeling," "Wild Ones," "Whistle," "I Cry," "G.D.F.R." and "My House."

Don’t miss ZZ Top’s performance at Eisenhower Park on Tuesday. Blues guitarist Billy F. Gibbons is the sole surviving original member of the Texas power trio after bassist Dusty Hill died in 2021 and drummer Frank Beard who died Aug. 17. Expect to hear hits like "Legs," "Sharp Dressed Man" and "La Grange."
Witness Billy Joel’s old band, The Lords of 52nd Street, starring drummer Liberty DeVitto, saxophonist Richie Cannata and guitarist Russell Javors, revive the Piano Man’s catalog on Sept. 3.
Sing "La Bamba" with Los Lobos as they hit the stage on Sept. 4. Meanwhile, Streetfighter and Who’s Next pair up for a double tribute to the Rolling Stones and The Who, respectively, on Sept. 5.
