Before the actual broadcast begins (and Lady Gaga hatches from her space-egg), time for a quick recap.
Jay-Z, with a solid showing in the rap category, and John Legend and The Roots, with a good haul in the R&B category, lead the night so far with three Grammys.
Lady Antebellum's “Need You Now” and Lady Gaga's “Bad Romance” each landed two Grammys apiece, while Herbie Hancock and BeBe & CeCe Winans also have two Grammys for the night.
Eminem, who started the night with a night-leading 10 nominations, has won one award for best rap solo performance out of six nominations, with four more to go.
